Harvest Time

John Teeter, Covenant Developer pastor from Los Angeles is preaching in my stead this coming Sunday. John is an evangelist, a street worker, a person who builds churches. John is one of the Pacific Southwest Conference church plants that are growing rapidly. The PSWC plans (prays) to plant 10 new churches each year for the next 10 years, that's 100 churches! The harvest? It's ripe and ready. Preach it John!

Hi. I'm Doug Wildman, the guy from the Canada Conference that was recently featured on the Covenant website for turning a container of Vicks VapoRub into a clean water well in Haiti. If you are interested in following the progress check out my blog at http://wilddoug.wordpress.com.

One of the things I am doing now is what I call the "Waterblogged Challenge" which is designed for youth groups and small groups. In this challenge, groups are encouraged to trade their own container of Vicks for bigger and better items for an entire month. The group that has the most valueable item at the end of the month wins a full 10% of the total amount that ALL of the other groups bring in. The reaining 90% goes toward well construction in Haiti. If this has piqued your interest or if you have any questions, check out my blog.

God bless you,

Doug Wildman
