Sacred Space

Over the next several weeks, this site will not be featuring the weekly themes for worship as it has in the past. That's because I will not be preaching at Montecito Covenant Church, but will be traveling back to the church sites in France as part of my vacation and study leave, exploring themes from my 2000 sabbatical project on Sacred Space, now titled "Old Stones; a rediscovery of the sacred."

Montecito Covenant Church will be hosting, in my absence, a series of excellent preachers: 5/28 Steen Hudson,from the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, 6/4 Matt Mills, youth pastor at Ocean Hills Covenant Church, 6/11 Ben Patterson, campus pastor at Westmont College, 6/18 Hugo Otaola, pastor at Isla Vista Covenant Church, 6/25 Kim Crawford, interim youth pastor at Montecito Covenant and Fuller Seminary student. All services wil begin at 10:00 am throughout the summer.
